Partner Guide - Master Toise

Master Toise (Brave)




Skill 1 - Stick Slam: The basic attack all the Master Toise share. Attacks on enemy, deals more damage with higher defense and there is a 40% chance to inflict reduce ATK on the enemy for 2 rounds. If Master Toise's DEF is higher than the enemies, the chance to inflict the debuff goes to 60%.



Skill 2 - Ki Blast: Attacks all enemies. Deals more damage with higher DEF. Any enemy with 60% or less DEF than Master Toise there is an 80% chance to reduce their action bar by 15%.



Skill 3 - Turtle Summon: Summons Gold Turtles to attack all enemies 3 times. Each attack has a 30% chance to blind the target for 1 round. If his DEF is higher than all the enemies at the end, it will reduce all his active skills by 1 round.



Leader Skill: Increase all Brave partners DEF by 40%.


War Pattern Recommendations:


Option 1: SAYA / BULL


Rationale: Since he has 2 AOE skills, SAYA will help to keep the team disabled while utilizing his action bar reduction skill. Bull to mass DEF for more damage and skill trigger effect.


L HAND: SPEED or DEF%

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: DEF, HP, SPEED.


Option 2: BULL / BULL / BULL


Rationale: More DEF = More damage and skill triggers.


L HAND: SPEED or DEF%

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: DEF, HP, SPEED.



Option 3: CAT / BULL


Rationale: The throwback build as I call it, spam Speed and high DEF to keep reducing the enemies action bar and applying debuffs.


L HAND: SPEED or DEF%

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: SPEED, DEF, HP.





Master Toise (Wise)




Skill 1 - Stick Slam: The basic attack all the Master Toise share. Attacks on enemy, deals more damage with higher defense and there is a 40% chance to inflict reduce ATK on the enemy for 2 rounds. If Master Toise's DEF is higher than the enemies, the chance to inflict the debuff goes to 60%.




Skill 2 - Turtles Asylum: Heals by 50% of his HP and increases DEF for 2 rounds. If he has the highest DEF of the monsters on the field, applies enduring healing on 2 random teammates for 2 rounds.



Skill 3 - Turtle Summon: Turtle Summon: Summons Gold Turtles to attack all enemies 3 times. Each attack has a 30% chance to blind the target for 1 round. If his DEF is higher than all the enemies at the end, it will reduce all his active skills by 1 round.



Leader Skill: Increases all Wise partners DEF by 40%.



War Pattern Recommendations:


Option 1: BULL / BULL / BULL


Rationale: More DEF = More damage and skill triggers, most importantly for enduring healing.


L HAND: DEF% or SPEED

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: DEF, HP, SPEED.


Option 2: OWL / OWL / BULL


Rationale: Team RES and high DEF. Helps the team survive.


L HAND: SPEED

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: DEF, HP, RES.


Option 3: RABBIT / BULL / BULL


Rationale: RES to help resist debuffs that could mess with his skills. High DEF as all other builds.

L HAND: DEF% or SPEED

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: DEF, SPEED, HP, RES are all OK.




Master Toise (Wild)




Skill 1 - Stick Slam: The basic attack all the Master Toise share. Attacks on enemy, deals more damage with higher defense and there is a 40% chance to inflict reduce ATK on the enemy for 2 rounds. If Master Toise's DEF is higher than the enemies, the chance to inflict the debuff goes to 60%.



Skill 2 - Ki Blast: Attacks all enemies. Deals more damage with higher DEF. Any enemy with 60% or less DEF than Master Toise there is an 80% chance to reduce their action bar by 15%.




Skill 3 - Timid Nature: When his HP is less than 50%, increases his own DEF by 100% and heal himself by 10% each round, but his speed will be reduced by 50%. The enemy that kills him wont be able to receive buffs for 3 rounds.



Leader Skill: Increases all Wild Partners DEF by 40%



War Pattern Recommendations:


Option 1: BULL / BULL / BULL


Rationale: Since his speed is reduced by skill 3, there is no need to put any speed on him. He needs to be tanky, as in all DEF so his 3rd skill stays active and he tanks the damage so your other partners can destroy the other team.


L HAND: DEF%

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: DEF, RES, and some HP.


Option 2: RABBIT / BULL / BULL


Rationale: Same as above, but with added RES.


L HAND: DEF%

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: DEF, RES, and some HP.


Option 3: WHALE /BULL / BULL


Rationale: Increases the teams HP while tanking damage. Could also try WHALE / WHALE / BULL.


L HAND: DEF%

HEAD: DEF%

R HAND: DEF%


SUBS: DEF, RES, and more DEF :)
